Being a mother some would argue is as special as being a dad but there is certainly something about a moms warmth and nurturing that is unique and truly deserves its own place. I love to capture these moments which will comfort our kids and instantly take them back into our warm embrace even when they physically can’t. Here’s raising a toast to all the mums and their forever babies ! Lets talk about how I can help.

Best time to book

Best time to book a mom special shoot can be anytime really but with young children its best done before 18 months of age just because they are so cuddly and still have their baby fat on! You could even choose a special moment like Mothers day or just before you plan to stop breastfeeding – but be sure to book it in advance.

Your experience

I treat my clients as an extension of my own family hoping I can serve you as your family grows over the years.

Prior to the shoot

My communication with you will be informal and easy. Once we make contact I will work with you to find out your requirements after which we can get a date secured for the shoot in the diary (£50 booking fee to be deducted from total). Prior to the shoot day I advise you on anything that I would like you to bring to the shoot and you can let me know if you have any special requirements that I should be aware of for the day of the shoot.

On the day of shoot

The shoot will take place at my home studio and will be very relaxed. I only book one shoot per day so rest assured you will be my main focus for the day. You and your family can enjoy some welcome drinks/snacks and watch some TV if they wish while we get on with the shoot. The rest of the payment (standard package) will be due by this date.

Once the shoot is done, it can take between 1 – 4 weeks for me to edit all your images and I will be in touch with you with the updates and to book a short viewing appointment.

After the shoot

You will be welcomed back to my studio for a viewing appointment that can take upto 1 hour. This will be a chance for you to see your beautiful printed images in person and pick the ones that you like to take away on the day and share with your family and friends straight away. I will be sending you the digital copies of all the pictures you choose by the following day. Digital images give you full freedom to use the images as you like and you can think of the prints as a nice little extra from the day!
